Lord and Lady Farnsworth depart for the Dutch East Indies as Mr. Farnsworth is plagued with consumption-like symptoms from the vile Seattle Winter of 2007. Sir Barclay and Miss Darjeeling are left to the care of Dame Leslie Engen of San Jo Shiba Inu's in East Redmond Hills.
